BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington police are probing a stabbing that happened Friday morning on the city’s south side.
Authorities were called around 8:30 a.m. to the 800 block of S. East Street. When officers arrived they located a 19-year-old man who had a stab wound. Police say the victim was walking on the sidewalk when he was stabbed.
Bloomington Fire and Rescue transported the victim to OSF St. Joseph’s emergency room. The man is in stable condition, according to BPD.
Authorities are still investigating the incident. There have been no arrests and there were no additional injuries reported.
