BLOOMINGTON – A McLean County man was arrested early Wednesday morning for the possession of drugs and a weapon.
Jordan Reiss, 29, of Lexington was taken into custody around 1:30 a.m in the 1600 block of Morrissey Drive. Bloomington Police said Reiss had an active McLean County warrant and was arrested without incident.
While searching Reiss, officers found illegal drugs, metal knuckles, and drug paraphernalia on his person, according to BPD. Officers also located a large amount of illegal drugs and drug sales/packaging material in his backpack.
Seized from Reiss’ person and property:
-Drug paraphernalia
-Drug packaging / sales material
-Other Controlled Substance (variety of pills)
-Metal knuckles
-Methamphetamine weighing approximately 25 grams (.88 ounces)
Reiss was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of a weapon.
