Illinois State announces four finalists for vice president for Academic Affairs and provost

NORMAL – Illinois State University has announced four finalists for vice president for Academic Affairs and provost.

At the beginning of the school year, ISU President Dr. Larry Dietz announced Jan Murphy, who currently serves the position, will be retiring.

Candidates include David Perlmutter of Texas Tech University, DeBrenna LaFa Agbenyiga previously of Bowie State University, Menah Pratt-Clark of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and Aondover Tarhule of Binghamton University.

Open forums will also provide the public and the campus community the opportunity to learn more about the finalist.

February 10, 2 p.m., Old Main Room, Bone Student Center – Dr. David Perlmutter

February 11, 2 p.m., Old Main Room, Bone Student Center – Dr. DeBrenna LaFa Agbényiga

February 13, 2 p.m., Old Main Room, Bone Student Center – Dr. Menah Pratt-Clarke

February 17, 2 p.m., Brown Ballroom II, Bone Student Center – Dr. Aondover Tarhule
