NORMAL – A woman is in custody in connection with a stabbing Wednesday in north Normal.

Normal Police said they were called to the 1700 block of Bradford Lane, near the Walgreen’s, for a woman stabbed, according to our news partner HOI-ABC.

Police say they figured out a woman suspected of the stabbing lived in the 700 block of Orlando Avenue, about five minutes from the scene.

When police arrived the female suspect would not come out, so they obtained an arrest warrant. The woman was arrested without incident. Police could not identify the suspect at this time.

Police said the stab injuries are not life threatening.

Illinois poet Vachel Lindsay…

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

Workers’ Memorial Day – Remember those whose job took their life

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
