$400,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot won in Peoria

PEORIA – If you bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Peoria, you may want to check your ticket. A gas station in Peoria sold a $400,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Monday’s midday drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Marathon, 3712 University Ave., in Peoria and matched all five numbers – 02 – 08- 16 – 25 – 29 – to win the jackpot. The retailer will receive a bonus of $4,000 for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it safe until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.

Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
