BLOOMINGTON – The Illinois State Board of Education will hold a hearing later this month in Bloomington to gather community input on the state’s budget for public education.
The ISBE will hold several hearings, including one Oct. 23 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Bloomington High School. Other hearings will be held in Chicago, East St. Louis and Mount Vernon.
Feedback and funding requests received at the hearings and online will inform ISBE’s fiscal year 2021 public education budget recommendation that the agency will submit to Gov. JB Pritzker and the General Assembly in January.
A form to submit feedback is available online at www.isbe.net/budget.
