BLOOMINGTON– Severe weather made it’s way through the Twin Cities and McLean County Sunday.

Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings along with a flash flood watch expired Sunday evening as the rain just kept falling.

A tornado was confirmed just north of Lincoln around 4:30 Sunday afternoon with radar indicating another possible tornado northeast of Atlanta.

Warnings were issued just after 5 p.m. for areas near Heyworth and LeRoy after a funnel cloud was reported in DeWitt County.

Several counties northwest of Bloomington were put under a flood watch as rainfall amounts averaged up to an inch in areas.

There were no reports of injuries Sunday evening.
