BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a dog that attacked a woman early Friday morning.
Police said the attack happened just after midnight in the 400 block of North Clayton Street. The woman was hospitalized with serious, but non-life threatening injuries, according to BPD.
Authorities said the dog was described as a German shepherd with no collar or tags and dirty matted hair.
Officers said the dog has not been found, but its believed to live on the city’s near east side. People should not approach the dog.
