One person injured in Normal house fire

NORMAL – One person was badly injured in a Normal house fire Wednesday afternoon.

Normal Fire crews were called around 3:30 p.m. to the 1300 block of Baugh Drive. NFD spokesperson Matt Swaney said crews carried out a female and she was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center. The female remains in critical condition.

The cause of the fire still remains under investigation. A dollar estimate of damage wasn’t available.
