BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington police squad car was involved in a hit-and-run Thursday afternoon in the downtown area.
Police said around 2:50 p.m. an officer attempted to stop a green SUV in a parking lot near the intersection of Market Street and Madison Street. The SUV rammed an occupied BPD vehicle and fled westbound on Market Street. Nobody was injured.
No suspect information is available and the investigation is on-going.
