BPD: Juveniles arrested after stealing vehicle

BLOOMINGTON – Three juvenile boys were arrested early Monday morning in connection to a stolen vehicle incident in Bloomington.

Bloomington Police responded to the area of 5th Street and B Avenue around 3:30 a.m. for a report of suspects burglarizing vehicles. A short time later, police said the suspects were located inside a vehicle that sped off, and crashed near Main Street and Armory Road.

Officers arrested two juvenile boys and later located another juvenile boy that was connected with the incident.

Police are asking anybody that had items stolen from vehicles on the city’s south side Sunday night to contact BPD dispatch at 309-820-8888.
