
BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police arrested a man and woman for a stabbing on the city’s south side early Saturday morning.
BPD responded around 3:50 a.m. to the 1900 block of Tracy Drive for a report of a woman being attacked. Police say the 27-year old female victim was stabbed and transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Officers located the suspects in a parking lot and arrested Miriah Davidson, 40, of Normal, and Tommie Slayton, 34, of Champaign.
Davidson faces a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Slayton faces charges of battery, aggravated battery of an officer, and resisting an officer.
