NORMAL – A 34-year old man was hurt when the car he was driving rolled on its top in west Normal.

The crash happened about 6 a.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of South Cottage Avenue, near Hovey Avenue in Normal.

Normal Police say the car left the road, went over a sidewalk, and struck a parked vehicle before rolling on its roof. The driver was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center. Police say he was conscious when officers tried to speak with him at the hospital. Otherwise, his condition is not available.

McLean County’s accident reconstruction team was at the scene, as part of the police department’s investigation.
