NORMAL – Normal Police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night that left one person wounded.
Police say they received a call of shots fired about 9:30 at the Lincoln Square Apartments at 1700 N. School St. in north Normal. About a half-hour later, police say staff at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center reported they were treating a gunshot victim.
Police say the man has an upper body wound, but they don’t think it’s a life-threatening injury. Police placed crime scene tape around the apartment where the shooting apparently happened. There have been no arrests.
