BLOOMINGTON – Authorities have released the names of three people killed in Monday afternoon’s shooting at an apartment complex on Riley Drive in Bloomington, and they reported a young boy also wounded in the gunfire is no longer on the critical list.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis said the victims are all from Bloomington. They’re identified as Juan Perez-Macedo, 33, Nathaniel Pena, 22, and Corey Jackson, who was also 22. Davis said preliminary autopsy results indicate all three died from gunshot wounds, but she provided no other details about their injuries.
Meantime, family members of a four-year old boy who suffered a gunshot wound told Bloomington Police he has been upgraded to stable condition at a Peoria hospital. The child was initially treated at a local hospital, then transferred by helicopter to Peoria.
Police say they’ve made no arrests.
