Terry Shepherd

BLOOMINGTON – Terry W. Shepherd, 76, of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

Terry’s celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Cremation rites were accorded.

Family suggests memorials to be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

Terry was born on April 22, 1942 in Bloomington. He is the son of Gardner and Lois (Jackson) Shepherd. He married Patricia “Pat” Thacker on March 22, 1960 in Bloomington.

Terry is survived by his wife Pat, their children, Terry Shepherd, Bloomington; Doug Shepherd, Bloomington; Kym Sinnott, Hamilton, Ohio and Tamie (Gary) Lesher, Hamilton, Ohio; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and and one granddaughter.

Terry worked for Modine Manufacturing and later worked at Pinecrest Apartments retiring in 2004.

Terry enjoyed camping and sitting at home in front of the garage socializing with his friends and family. He loved NASCAR, the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He dearly loved his family and his dog and best friend “Tiki”. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
