McLEAN – McLean’s neighborhood deer is no longer taking her morning and afternoon strolls around that familiar block.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources sedated the seemingly-domesticated doe on Wednesday, and transported her to a rehab facility. While there, professionals will make sure she has a clean bill of health, then determine if she’s capable of being released back into the wild, or if they need to find her a permanent home.
