Car crashes into Washington Elementary fence, no one injured

BLOOMINGTON – A two-vehicle accident outside Washington Elementary in Bloomington caused one of the cars involved to crash into the school’s playground fence, but no one was injured.

Police say the accident occurred around 9:10 this morning, shortly after children entered the school to begin the day.

The driver of the vehicle that crashed into the fence was unharmed, and students and faculty were not on the playground at that time.

The cause of the accident is not known at this time.
