Drug and weapon charges filed after search in Normal

NORMAL – Two residents of Normal have been arrested on charges of selling cocaine and marijuana.

Bloomington Police say Donnell Taylor, 25, and Chanell Sutton, 27, are initially charged with various cocaine and marijuana possession and distribution offenses. Taylor also faces weapons charges and Sutton is facing charges of obstruction and destroying evidence.

Bloomington Police report the department’s vice and street crimes units searched a residence on Orlando Avenue in Normal on Wednesday and found 16 grams of crack cocaine, 12 ounces of marijuana and a box of ammunition.
