Benecke named LIFE CIL director

BLOOMINGTON – The LIFE Center for Independent Living has named a woman with a long history with the organization as its next executive director.

Rickielee Benecke begins her new duties April 30. Benecke replaces Gail Kear, who retires at the end of this month after 21 years in the position.

Benecke serves on several state and national disability rights committees.

LIFE CIL serves and assists people with disabilities in DeWitt, Ford, Livingston and McLean counties.
