BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police say they’ve arrested a man who they call a main supplier to cocaine dealers in the area.
Police arrested Rashad Adams, 25, of the south Chicago suburb of Glenwood on Tuesday near the 300 block of North East Street in Bloomington. The arrest follows a Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force investigation with members of the vice and street crimes unit of Bloomington Police.
Adams faces six counts of manufacture and delivery of cocaine. He is accused of completing drug deals in November 2017 and January and February of 2018.
He is in the McLean County Jail with bond set at $500,000.
