Winter Weather Advisory for central Illinois

BLOOMINGTON – A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect tomorrow beginning at noon until Monday morning.

The bitter cold may be leaving for the time being, but central Illinois is expected to see a combination of snow and sleet starting Sunday. The advisory will remain in effect until Monday at 6 a.m.

Bloomington, Normal, Lincoln, Clinton, Monticello, Decatur, and Sullivan are among the central Illinois cities anticipating two inches of snow and ice accumulation.

Drivers are being urged to use caution on the roadways.
