NORMAL – Illinois State University sent out an emergency alert across campus Friday night after a report of a stabbing in Normal.
Police were called to an apartment building at 709 S. Main in Normal about 9 p.m. ISU issued the campus alert on social media and on its website, then lifted the alert when Normal Police arrested the suspect.
Police said the victim, a man said to be in his ’20’s, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center.
Other details were not available. Police said they’re still investigating the incident.
