Bloomington man killed in rural McLean County crash

BLOOMINGTON – McLean County Coroner Kathy Davis has identified the 19-year-old Bloomington man was killed in a single-vehicle crash shortly after midnight.

David Stiles was traveling on near McLean County Road 825 North and 1900 East Road northwest of Downs when the pickup truck he was driving ran off the road and struck a tree. Stiles was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead less than an hour after the crash.

A male passenger was taken to a local hospital. Their condition is not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
