BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police have made a second arrest in relation to a fatal crash on Morrissey Drive and Chrisman Lane that happened late Wednesday morning.
Police say Jakeb C.S. Collins, 22, of Bloomington was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of the accident after additional information was received from the public. McLean County prosecutors are expected to file formal charges before Collins appears for a bond hearing this afternoon.
Bloomington Police had previously arrested Darin Scott, 54, also of Bloomington on preliminary charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and fleeing the crash scene.
The crash, which involved Scott’s minivan and an SUV, killed Phyllis Graver, 79, of Carmel, Indiana.
