Prosecutors charge McLean man with sex crimes dating back to early 1990s

 

Clint Valentine, 52, of McLean is accused of sexually abusing two minors in alleged crimes dating back to the early 1990’s.

BLOOMINGTON – A man from the village of McLean is jailed on sex abuse allegations dating back to the early 1990’s.

McLean County Sheriff’s Police arrested Clint Valentine, 52. Police said they started investigating the case in mid-May.

Prosecutors charged Valentine with five felony counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse for incidents involving two alleged victims from December 1991 to 2009.

A judge set bond at $500,000 for Valentine, who would have to come up with 10 percent of the bail, or $50,000, to be released while awaiting trial.
