NORMAL – Fire crews in Normal have been battling a fire that broke out Thursday morning at a business.

Crews remain on scene of the fire at Twin City Garage at 604 Orlando Ave. near Main Street. The fire was first reported at 11:50 a.m.

Smoke could be seen billowing for miles.

As of 12:30 p.m. the fire appeared to be largely under control.

Normal Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.

There are no reports of injuries. The cause is under investigation. The full extent of the damage is not known.
