Man from Normal sentenced to 5 years for child pornography

PEORIA – A man from Normal has been sentenced to five years in prison for receiving child pornography.

Stephen Croker, 43, pleaded guilty in January. According to court documents, Croker was a member of Playpen, a hidden website dedicated to sharing child pornography.

Investigators searched his home and found more than 2,000 images and 54 videos of child porn located on a thumb drive. Croker will have to register as a sex offender upon his release.
