Livingston Co. United Way enlists donations through Amazon

PONTIAC – While the United Way of Livingston County is about $6,000 short of its goal, there are ways to donate outside of typical fundraisers or dropping money off at the office.

One way is through Amazon Smile, which can be used by anyone shopping at amazon.com. Executive Director Deb Howard explains donating is easy.

“So, if you happen to shop at Amazon, if you go to Amazon Smile and look up United Way of Livingston County, we get a percentage of that,” Howard said. “It doesn’t cost you anything. No extra effort at all. We just got a donation from Amazon and it brought it to the forefront that I should remind people of that.”
