BLOOMINGTON – A former Nestle plant worker has avoided jail time after repaying more than $100,000 he stole from the company.
Charles Sauer, 39, was sentenced to 30 months probation Monday and 30 hours of community service for his guilty plea to felony theft charges.
The former human resources employee admitted to using a Nestle credit card for personal expenses between 2012 and 2014.
Prosecutors dismissed charges of forgery, money laundering and theft as part of a plea agreement.
