State Fair adds more shows to Grandstand

SPRINGFIELD- The Illinois State Fair has added a slew of entertainers for it’s Grandstand Lineup in 2017.

Acts such as John Mellencamp, Alabama, Jason DeRulo, and Chase Rice were announced back in February.

Among the performers announced today are Country artist Brad Paisley, who is a returning act to the state fair. Also announced are groups such as Pentatonix, Montgomery Gentry, and The Marshall Tucker Band.

According to the press release, only one spot remains for the Grandstand Lineup, and officials say that spot will be announced shortly.

The 2017 Illinois State Fair will run from August 11-20.
