COOKSVILLE – Julie Kaye VanNote, 57, of Cooksville, passed away at 5:30 p.m., March 22, 2017, at her residence.
Cremation has been accorded.
A celebration of her life will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax.
Friends may greet the family from 4 to 7 p.m., also on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Memorials may be left to the family.
Julie was born July 25, 1959, in Gibson City, the daughter of Larry K. and Carol Lee Bradford Hereford.
She married Jeff VanNote on June 14, 1986. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother Carol Hereford of Colfax; son, Jeremy Hereford of Atlanta; granddaughters, Alexis and Brynlee Hereford; and brothers, Steve (Tammy) Hereford of Phoenix, Ariz., Brian (Cathy) Hereford of Colfax, and Kurt Hereford of Colfax.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Kent Hereford.
Julie was a member of the Colfax Christian Church.

Sheila Lynn
Shella Louise Malone Lynn, 78 of Bloomington, formerly of Havana and Macomb, Illinois, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 2:55 p.m. at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Illinois.
Per her wishes there will not be any services. Cremation rites will be accorded. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Havana Library Restoration Project in Havana, Illinois or to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
Shella was born on March 3, 1939 in Havana, Illinois the daughter of Sheldon and Mable (Wheelock) Malone. She Married Homer Dewey Lynn on August 17, 1957 in Havana, Illinois. He preceded her on June 11, 2008.
She is survived by her daughter: Christi Lynn of Bloomington, her brother-in-law: Lloyd Behrends of Havana, nieces and nephews: Tami (Rick) Davidage, Teresa Link, Tara Behrends, Tony Behrends and Todd (Jamie) Behrends. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
Shella is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister.
Shella graduated from Havana High School as Salutatorian Class of 1957. While in high school she was very involved in many of the class clubs. She studied art at Western Illinois University, she worked as an administrative assistant at State Farm Insurance Company retiring in the late 80’s. Shella was an avid tennis player for 66 years and had received many accolades and rankings. She was a member of the Evergreen Racquet Club and the Bloomington Women’s Club in which she participated as Secretary and Correspondent Secretary.
She will be dearly missed by all her family.
