
Lesa K. Dillon
WELDON – A memorial service for Lesa K. Dillon, 61, of Weldon, will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington with Craig Brock officiating. A visitation will precede the service at 4 p.m.
Mrs. Dillon passed away on March 16, 2017, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Lesa was born Nov. 19, 1955, in Bloomington, the daughter of David H. and Lorna L. Smith.
A graduate of Normal Community High School, Lesa continued her education, earning certification from the Bloomington Practical School of Nursing.
She worked as a nurse at Brokaw Hospital in Normal, then with Unit 5 Schools in Normal, retiring after 23 years in 2012.
On Feb. 15, 1975, she married her childhood sweetheart, Robert Dillon, in Normal and traveled through life together for 42 years.
She loved her husband, her family and her animals. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren.
Lesa also loved reading, crafting, going to garage sales and traveling.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David Dillon (Sara Spenik) of Naples, Fla.; a daughter, Michelle Dillon (Jason McDonnald) of Bloomington; two sisters, Holly (David), Miller of Harker Heights, Texas, Angie (Ralph) Hernandez of Austin, Texas; and five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Austin, Dillon, Hailey and Bo.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Jane Ellen Johnson
PONTIAC – Jane Ellen Johnson, 94 of Rantoul, formerly of Pontiac, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 12:45 p.m.at Advocate BroMenn Reginal Medical Center, Normal.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at South Side cemetery with Rev. Tom Goodell of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Memorials in Jane’s name may be made to Livingston County Humane Society. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac., is handling the arrangements.
Jane was born on January 24, 1923 in Pontiac, a daughter of Forrest and Addie (Martzluff) Herwig. She married John H. Johnson on November 7, 1945 in Brownsville, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1988. Survivors include: two daughters: Ellen Johnson of Bradenton, Fla. and Janet Johnson of Sarasota, Fla..; one son: John Johnson of Urbana.; three grandchildren: Jim Hoffrichter, Wesley Johnson and Katie Mitrou and one great granddaughter: Lily Hoffrichter.
Jane was educated in Pontiac Schools and was owner-operator with her husband of Johnson Moving and Storage in Pontiac. She was a member of Illinois Movers and Warehouseman’s Association.
