SPRINGFIELD – Washington D.C. Republicans are pressing for changes to the Affordable Care Act and Monday those members in Congress released a view of what should change.
Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner said it’s a little early right now to get too involved in the conversation about what he’d like to see done, but he does think that the proposed changes won’t help out the state or some citizens.
“It’s a pretty significant shift and my first blush read is Illinois won’t do very well under the change they are recommending, which is a big concern to me,” Rauner said.
Rauner said he’s had a few conversations with people inside of Trump administration about what he’d recommend. Rauner didn’t say what those recommendations were or would look like.
