Connect Transit selects interim GM

BLOOMINGTON – The Connect Transit Board of Trustees has tabbed Isaac Thorne to be the agency’s interim general manager.

Thorne will serve in the leadership capacity as the organization searches for a permanent replacement for General Manager Andrew Johnson, who’s accepted a new position in Champaign.

Thorne has been with Connect Transit since 2007 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. The board plans to vote on approving Thorne as interim GM at their next meeting March 21.
