BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Mayor Tari Renner said the death of Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts Director Tina Salamone is a “great loss” for the entire community.
Salamone died at her home in Bloomington Sunday.
Renner said Salamone did an “outstanding job” running the BCPA.
“She always brought great passion and energy and life to her job,” said Renner. “She was an inspiration to others around her.
“I can just see her smile over new ideas, or expectations, or a new gig that would come to the Coliseum, or a new wave of innovation.”
Renner added Salamone was an “outstanding woman” and he’s stunned by her death.
