BLOOMINGTON – A 24-year-old Bloomington man has been convicted for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon.
Charles Foster was convicted during a bench trial in McLean County Court. Four other weapons related charges were dismissed.
Foster was arrested last February after Bloomington police responded to the 800 block of West Washington for a report of an armed person confronting someone at their residence. Foster reportedly threatened to shoot the victim with an assault rifle.
Foster is scheduled to be sentenced April 21.
