BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington police officer was hurt while arresting a robbery suspect Monday in downtown Bloomington.
Police said Jeshiah M. Campbell, 25, allegedly tried to rob the Subway in downtown just after 10 a.m. He was arrested following a physical struggle with police, during which an officer sustained minor injury to his hand.
Campbell was taken to the McLean County Jail. He’s being charged with disorderly conduct, aggravated assault to a peace office, and restricting/obstructing a peace officer causing injury.
