DECATUR – Brady Rose scored 15 points and Nick Coleman added 14 as Illinois Wesleyan overcame a sluggish first half to defeat Millikin, 65-53, at the Griswold Center.
Korbin Farmer’s baseline jumped with five seconds remaining in the half gave the Big Blue a 24-22 lead at the intermission, which would be Millikin’s last advantage. The Titans responded with a 10-3 surge capped by one of Coleman’s four three-point baskets.

Wesleyan (13-6, 5-5 in the CCIW) bounced back from its lowest scoring half of the season to shoot 50 percent from the field in the second half. The Titans forced 16 Millikin turnovers while committing five.
Millikin fell to 3-17, 1-10 in the CCIW.
The Titans host Carroll on Saturday.
