BLOOMINGTON – Police say a man armed with a handgun tried to rob a west wide grocery store on Monday night.
Bloomington Police say they don’t have a detailed description of a suspect. They say the man approached Pop’s Grocery as about 10:40 p.m. Police say a store employee who was outside quickly closed the store before the man could enter and a confrontation ensued.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
