Police: Bloomington man shot during home invasion

BLOOMINGTON – Police say a man was shot Wednesday night in an apparent home invasion.

Bloomington Police say someone broke into a home at 1528 Julie Dr. in south Bloomington at about 7:37 p.m. Police say the victim, a 44-year-old Bloomington man, was shot in the leg. He was taken to Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, where his condition is not being released. Police say his injuries don’t appear to be life threatening.

No arrests have been made. Police say they don’t have any suspect information.
