UPDATED: Bloomington Police release images from convenience store robbery

BLOOMINGTON – Police have released a description of the suspect in an early morning convenience store robbery.

Bloomington Police say the robber displayed a gun at the Circle K at South Clinton and Oakland Avenue at about 4 a.m. He reportedly took an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot. No shots were fired and no one was injured in the holdup.

The suspect is described as light-skinned black male between 5 feet and 5 feet 5 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie. The suspect had his face partially covered.

Police believe the incident may be connected to another armed robbery at the Citgo at 1810 S. Morris Ave. last Tuesday.
