Joyce Ann Anderson, 80, loving wife, mother, grandmother and retired OB/GYN Nurse, passed away on Oct. 29 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kan.

Her service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Following the service Entombment will take place at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

Memorials may be made to the West Evangelical Free Church, 1161 N. Maize Road, Wichita, Kan. 67212.

Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, John, and parents, James and Ada Carter. Surviving are her children: Steve (Cindy) Gaspardo of North Aurora, David (Deb) Gaspardo of Springfield and Sue (Frank) Ryberg of Wichita, Kan.. Siblings: Marilyn Logston of Normal, Kenneth

(Dorothy) Carter of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jane (Marvin) Cirks of Tampa, Fla.;

grandchildren: Jordan, Janelle, Jennifer, Jamilyn, Jasmine, Margaret, Elizabeth and James.

Frank EmbertonFrank Emberton

Frank Edward Emberton, 72 of Normal, passed away on Oct. 29 at 10:45 p.m. at the McLean County Nursing Home, Normal, Illinois.

His memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the College Park Christian Church of Normal, with Pastor Brent Salm officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 p.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home with Masonic Rites at 7 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the College Park Christian Church of Normal or charity of the donor’s choice.

Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

Frank was born July 28, 1944 in Bloomington the son of Frank and Helen Wood Emberton. He married Sherry Brucker on Oct. 4, 1969 in Bloomington.

Frank is survived by his wife Sherry of Normal, their children; Teresa (Robert) Fitzgerald; Normal and Kevin Emberton of Kennewick, Washington and five grandchildren: Patrick, Delaney and Devin Fitzgerald, Tyler and Victoria Emberton.

He was preceded by his parents.

Frank attended Oklahoma A&M, Lincoln Junior College and Illinois State University. He retired from the Eureka Company after working 33 years as an inspector.

He is a member of the College Park Christian Church of Normal, former member and Past Master of Heyworth Lodge A.F. & A.M. and was a current member of the Wade Barney Lodge 512 A.F. & A.M. and the Bloomington Scottish Rite Bodies.

In early years Frank enjoyed making Stain Glass, he also enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears, NASCAR.

Frank loved his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by them and all who knew him.
