MERNA – A Bloomington man was hospitalized in a motorcycle crash on Sunday night.
McLean County Sheriff’s Police say a motorcycle driven by James Spinks, 58,ran off the road at McLean County 1600 North and 2400 East at about 8:15 p.m. Police say he had failed to negotiate a curve and the motorcycle flipped.
Police say another motorcyclist who was riding alongside him saw the crash and called rescue crews.
Spinks was rushed to a Bloomington hospital and later was flown to OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. His condition is not available.
Police have not issued any citations and say the investigation is ongoing.
