SAYBROOK – A man from Gibson City is in jail for allegedly stabbing two people in Saybrook Friday night.

Police arrested Arthur J. “AJ” Corry, 47, Saturday morning. Police had been called to the 900 block of West Harrison Street nearly 8:30 p.m. Friday. A 55-year-old man and 47-year-old woman were taken to OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. The male’s injuries were considered life threatening and he remained in serious condition Saturday.

Corry faces charges of attempted murder, home invasion and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. His bond has been set at $3 million.
