CLINTON – Police in Clinton have released a description of a suspect who reportedly robbed a bank on Friday.
Clinton Police say a tall, slender black man around age 30 wearing dark jeans, a dark long-sleeved shirt, sunglasses and a multicolored or camouflage bucket hat with a Chicago Bulls logo robbed DeWitt Savings Bank at about 3-50 yesterday afternoon. He reportedly presented a handwritten note and demanded money. Police say he got away with an undetermined amount of cash and fled to a nearby car and drove through several neighborhoods at a high rate of speed.
Police say the suspect vehicle is an older model white passenger car and had a partial licence plate of “V10.”
Police say no weapons were displayed and no one was injured.
