BPD investigating more reports of shots fired

BLOOMINGTON – Police in Bloomington are investigating two reports of multiple shots fired on Monday night on East Empire Street.

Officers were called to the 2100 block of the street at about 6:30 p.m., searched the area and found no reported injuries. Police responded to the second incident at about 10:15 p.m. in the 2000 block – again no injuries were reported.

Police later received a report that a parked, unoccupied vehicle was hit by a bullet in the 2000 block.

No arrests have been made and the investigations are ongoing.
