BLOOMINGTON – Bringing families together and emphasizing the importance of fitness is the goal of Family Fun Day in Bloomington Saturday.

The event is being held at Tipton Park at the corner of College Avenue and Airport Road on Bloomington’s East Side.

“The Bloomington Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department supports Bloomington as a healthy and active community. This free event is perfect for families to have fun while connecting with organizations that support healthy living,” said recreation program manager Adam Hucek.

LIve music is planned along with face painting by the Zoo Lady, a rock climbing wall provided by Upper Limits Rock Gym & Pro Shop, an inflatable obstacle course and the PNC Growing Up Great – “Learning is All Around Me!” Mobile Learning Adventure.

The event starts at 1 pm.

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
