TOWANDA – Fire investigators are looking to determine the cause of a blaze that damaged a home in Towanda on Monday afternoon and injured a woman who lives there.
Fire crews from multiple departments, including Towanda, Bloomington, Normal, Hudson, Lexington, Cooksville and Octavia battled the fire at the single-story home at 209 W. Washington St. The fire was reported at about 2:30 p.m.
The women was taken to a local hospital. Her condition is not known.
