NORMAL – Illinois State University has scheduled open forums for the public to meet the three candidates for its Vice President of Student Affairs position.
None of the candidates is from ISU. Each forum will be held at Bone Student Center’s Old Main Room.
The first forum on Tuesday, March 22 at 2 p.m. will be for Lori Reesor, the vice president for student affairs at the University of North Dakota. She earned a Ph.D. in education policy and leadership from the University of Kansas. Reesor also earned a certificate from the Harvard Institute for Educational Management in 2014.
The second forum on Thursday, March 24 at 2 p.m. for Eric Arneson, the assistant vice president for student affairs at Florida International University in North Miami. Arneson earned an Ed.D. in higher education from FIU.
The third forum will be on Wednesday, March 30 at 2 p.m. for Levester Johnson, the vice president for student affairs at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. He earned an Ed.D. in higher education administration from Indiana University.
Brent Paterson has served as ISU’s interim vice president of student affairs since 2014. He replaced Larry Dietz when he became ISU’s president.
